Re: Bad teeth decay
Op if you get an abcess an get in a jam, go to eBay and check out fish MOX. Its amoxicillan same stuff the doc gives people,

True a prescription of it is cheaper, but the doc wants $100 or more just to get a prescription of it.

I know how it is, it sux. Wish your family the best.

How would I know how much to take of that? I've been meaning to buy some since I've seen it for years on here.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76759123

Do some research on line. It comes in 500mg capsules. I took 1500 mg a day and it knocked out the infection till I could get it pulled. A course is 10 days I think.

Re: Bad teeth decay
Have been researching a LOT for my husband. Came across these websites.
He has been using bentonite clay tooth powder and it is really helping. He also uses fresh garlic on his gums...he slices it and places it on his gums for approx 10 minutes then chews it up and swallows it. The swelling has gone way down.
He uses colloidal silver and oregano oil as well.
You can do this!!! =)

Re: Bad teeth decay
I have no idea where to start this, but I've been a frequent visitor to this site for about 10 years. I have no one to turn to, but I just have to get this out somewhere to get things started. To start though, I'm almost 30 and my wife is 27. We both have terrible teeth and it feels like we have no options. I've been at the same dead end job now for 13 years and I can't find another because of these horrendous teeth.

I don't make shit for money and have no insurance. I have to sacrifice a lot of foods in fear of breaking anymore teeth. Right now I've been oil pulling daily to hopefully not get any infections.

My wife is in the same boat as me but we want to do something with our lives but can't because of the shitty choices we have made concerning our teeth. But I want that to change so bad. We just don't want to worry about dying from bad teeth. It's such a terrible feeling having to worry about being embarrassed and constantly worrying about these.

Does anyone have any suggestions? And trust me if we could travel back in time and fix the mistakes we would.

Re: Bad teeth decay
Teeth are bones so start with vitamin D3, try for olive oil and not the soy oil ingredient ones.

Also, vitamin C and sunshine will build up your immune system. Don’t take this lightly, bad teeth can result in very serious diseases down the road.

Get off the Sugar and Slop diet. Maybe too much yeast in your bodies.

Acidic and sugary beverages are your worst enemy.

Drink plenty of water to keep bacteria down.

After consuming you must clean your teeth and mouth thoroughly.

Never go to bed after consuming food without a thorough cleaning and water rinse, including milk products.

Mouth washes are junk too. Rinse with hydrogen peroxide. Dilute if necessary. This will help with bacterial growth.

Smoking weakens your bones, teeth too.

Floss, floss, floss! Don’t worry if gums bleed at first, they’ll stop once the gums have been stimulated and strengthened. But, consistency is key.

You have time to visit this site so make time to visit YT and search out options for oral hygiene and tooth healing.

Here’s a bit more info:

I've done so much researching itd make some people's heads spin. I probably have other problems health wise also but I figure my teeth should be the starting point.

Join the military, get your teeth fixed and get a GI loan to buy a home.
Get training in the military to get a better job when you get out.
How’s that for change and problem solving.
Would you give 4 years to get your answers. Maybe even college later for a degree in your new line of work. tomato

9teen First thing is that you both obviously need some dental care so ask around there should be some low cost clinic that will help you. If you don't fix that then it will just go from bad to worse.

Back in 2001 I was in your situation with my teeth. What you both need is a good quality Oral B toothbrush and Sensidyne type toothpaste After my teeth got fixed I followed my dentists recommendations and after about 3 weeks I'd say my teeth where about 80% better, and have been much better this last 15 years or so. Brush twice a day...every day.

Start a business for both of you, keeping your job. Buy an sell something. Try to earn an extra 10000 a year if possible and spend several years fixing both of your teeth.

Crafting.

Sporting.

Buy and sell.

rot is from ACID, acid can be neutralized (after you eat... anything) with simple baking soda gargle. my teeth were bad, now I use -tip and clove oil (cheap) around gum lines, rinse with baking soda solution. cove kills bad bacteria and soda flattens the acid - dentist hates me - no plaque, no cavities, no profits. I rinse 4-6 times a day and after eating anything also. food IS poison (acid)

Also, do you have acid reflux?

I had dental and stomach issues until I started taking an over the counter Prilosec every morning. Then both went away. I was kicking up stomachs acid while sleeping, and it would erode my tooth enamel. It had nothing to do with hygiene as I brushed and flossed often and well.

Also, why don’t you just get jobs that do t require you to snow your ugly grill to people or smell your putrid breath? Like warehouse or drive a truck or something, or some factory bullshit. Go work on the railroad or something. Lots of people with fucked up rotting grills make livable wages plus benefits doing all sorts of stuff. Re: Bad teeth decay
I accidentally fixed a cavity-coming-on with sensitivity that has seriously diminished since.

Wouldn't buy fluoride toothpaste, wouldn't spend on chemicalized non-fluoride, so made my own tooth powder. Make your own tooth powder, and you need something wet to throw in your mouth before dipping the wet brush into the tooth powder container.

Usually I use a half capful of Tom's Mouthwash without fluoride. Or my own mouthwash I've made (clove powder, peppermint oil a few drops, etc., tons of recipes online).

Well this day I added some colloidal silver as a "wetter." I felt a stab, not pain exactly, just a presence of a stab up to the root of that tooth, had to lean against the hallway wall a moment wondering what I'd done. It quickly went away.

That tooth has no more sensitivity. I oil pull at least four times a week but am righteous scared, unless I'm sitting down, to throw a few drops of colloidal in there. But I just may.

You flyover state mouth breathers practicing your own hooterville dentistry with whatever you find out in the barn are going to have your teeth turn black and possibly damage your kidneys.

There is a reason that it takes years and money to become a dentist......saving people from their own stupidity in fixing their teeth is hard work and not for simple dummies.

No. 185 lbs. Judgemental much? He has a similar childhood to mine thank you.

Perhaps you are actually over sensitive and lash out too quickly, and that is why you are self-limited, and not from having a busted grill and reduced to eating baby food.....

Keep thinking about that. Let it bounce around in your little toothless head a few days...

No. I just speak my mind. After dealing with the public for 13 years you realize how selfless, childish, and judgemental a lot of people are. Just because a guy I watch on there was overweight I'm asked if I'm also overweight? That has nothing to do with this conversation.

What city and state?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 40965935

Why? Tennessee is all I'll say.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76759123

You need to move out of there ASAP

I live in Pennsylvania and I went to the local county assistance office and if you make poverty level income (I think it's somewhere around $20,000) and they WILL approve you for state funded insurance. I go to my primary doctor, the gyno, the dentist and it's all covered or very cheap

I'm telling you do NOT be ashamed to take assistance if you need it. I'm sure you've paid into the system many years and it's all basically money you worked for. Don't be ashamed.

And PLEASE PLEASE take care of your teeth. Don't eat super sugary stuff, always brush at least once or twice a day. DO NOT SMOKE. Floss, use mouthwash, etc. I buy my brushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc at the $1 store and I have no cavities.

Just ONE tooth is freaking thousands of dollars. You can't afford that much salvage what you do have. Worst case scenario you might have to go to the emergency room if you have a bad tooth ache or abscess.

And that's the thing some people don't realize. We've been saving money. It's not much but it's something. Tennessee sucks ass in A lot of ways. We want our own home but we would have to say bye bye to getting our teeth fixed. It's just a shitty situation and I know there are a lot of other people like us in the same boat.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76759123

Get your teeth fixed before owning a home. That in itself can be very expensive with all the upkeep. Houses are falling apart where I live because people can’t take care of basic upkeep.
