They have to try and make the connection between treason and password hacking conspiracy in order to justify the extension of 3 years in the statute of limitations up from the normal 5 years. He is facing federal charges in the US therefore any country that has extradition agreements with the US are likely required to hand over the suspect. That's my understanding off the top of my head anyway. |
