According to experts that spoke at the second round of hearings of the China Tribunal against organ harvesting, held last weekend in London, the world is turning a blind eye to the “pillaging” of organs carried out with Beijing’s approval, and the practice shows no signs of abating.

During the first phase of the Tribunal in December 2018, testimonies were heard from human rights investigators, lawyers, doctors, and academics, all of whom made a persuasive case that prisoners of conscience are being harvested for their organs in the tens of thousands.

The Independent China Tribunal, commissioned by the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC), is composed of international lawyers from four different countries, a specialist China historian, an organ transplant surgeon, and a businessman whose brief is to consider the evidence and act collectively to determine what consequences in law there might be, were China to be found guilty of international criminal offenses.

I personally don't think that anybody, even criminals, should be murdered by torture, which is what organ harvesting is.

I'm not against capital punishment, I think it certainly does a service to society which has been woefully ignored, but when people are guilty of no crimes... That's a whole different deal, I think.

So,they take organs out and then just leave people to lay there and die ?

Do they take all the organs at one time,or do they keep the person alive,take one organ at a time, and then do drive-bys when they need a different organ ?

I'm quite sure that they do it,because I've seen video of them keeping bears alive,while they drain their gall bladders.

They remove the organs one by one, and they remove the heart last. This effectively kills the person. The bodies are incinerated so that there is no proof of the murder by organ extraction.

They particularly use the Falun Gong practitioners who have gone homeless to prevent their families from being harassed, losing their jobs, etc. These practitioners do not carry any ID and become nameless, numberless persons who can be killed with impunity.

It's a stain on our civilization that our public officials have not pushed stopping this abuse more. It's mainly Falun Gong who have been targeted with this forced organ harvesting abuse.

Another damning report released in June — by former Canadian politician David Kilgour, human rights lawyer David Matas and journalist Ethan Gutmann — shows that organ transplants are carried out in China 10 times more than official government figures reveal.

“The (Communist Party) says the total number of legal transplants is about 10,000 per year. But we can easily surpass the official Chinese figure just by looking at the two or three biggest hospitals,” Mr Matas said in a statement.

The report estimates that 60,000 to 100,000 organs are transplanted each year in Chinese hospitals.

Evidence to contradict “substantial” forced organ harvesting from prisoners in China is lacking, tribunal hears

The Chinese state has not responded to repeated invitations to give evidence to an independent tribunal in London that is considering allegations of forced organ harvesting from prisoners in China, the tribunal’s chair said at a second round of public hearings held on 6 and 7 April 2019.

“Despite every effort to find an analysis contrary to the thrust of the evidence no such analysis has been provided,” said the chair, Geoffrey Nice QC.

The tribunal’s seven strong panel is aiming to establish whether, beyond reasonable doubt, the Chinese state or state approved entities have committed criminal offences under international law.

Nice, who also led the prosecution of the former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic in the Hague, emphasised that the tribunal will continue to welcome all pertinent evidence until it issues its final judgment, expected on 17 June 2019.1
