[CHARLOTTE COUNTY] – A machete-wielding Florida Man was arrested after deputies say he blocked a car in traffic, swung the machete around and hit the windshield of the vehicle.

38-year old Michael Cittadino faces charges of aggravated assault, criminal mischief and resisting an officer.

The victim said the Florida Man pulled up next to him, his girlfriend and child and blocked him in his lane. Then, he came at him with the machete, hitting the windshield of the car.

Deputies eventually apprehended Cittadino, who was first taken to the hospital for reported back pain, followed by the Charlotte County Jail.
