I'm beginning to think the correct first response to this totalitarian 'leftist' take over (actually just oligarchal control) over the internet would be to criminally prosecute and throw people in prison.

The easy ones are the ceo's that have lied to congress. It's clear that many are violating people's constitutional rights, that must be a crime, right? And the banks that are behind this need to be held accountable as well. The ceo of BofA, Wells Fargo, Citibank, etc.
To learn who rules over you, find out who you are not allowed to criticize.

When the government is wrong, it's dangerous to be right.

The secret of freedom lies in educating people, whereas the secret of tyranny is in keeping them ignorant.

And you are, quite a few of you at least, going to be going to prison.

And your kids will probably call me daddy by the time your worthless asses get out.

Ive been screaming from day one they should create their

own browser... I would get rid of all 3 of mine in a second

to switch to one made by G-A-B
 Quoting: Jake

Everyone would...

Just fork a FF or Chrome browser and there you go.

Excerpt:

Payment companies like PayPal, Stripe, Square, Cash App, Coinbase and Bitpay have all booted us off.

Since when can't we say G*B??
 Quoting: Evangelina

Maybe it is time for a State Run bank where it is illegal to discriminate against different groups. Or maybe Trump should get some laws passed making it illegal to discriminate against alt-right. I like the state run banks best because it breaks up the monopoly that Some people have on banks.
I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you.

It takes money to fight shit like this in court. I don't personally know anybody with money. Unless you have money, you just take what they throw in your face.

The biggest problem of writing a new browser is will the public at large support it? I have used others and some places will not support it at all. Pages will not even load, just a message.

I'm not asking for anything. I was trying to word the title so I could actually get it to post. A conservative based browser would be a first, would it not?
 Quoting: Evangelina

yes it would, with Brave being the current one.
its really nice, i use it on PC and mobile.

but to me it looked like you heard of plans GLP building a new browser, or going to build a new browser, and wanted a heads up. :)

but i think you should wait for the g*b browser to come out.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74284055

Is Brave made by the people at G-A-B??
 Quoting: Jake

No, but they use it as a base for their own browser.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74284055

You are wrong concerning the bold comment. I was merely sharing what was said in the initial post with the twitter link.

I downloaded Brave one or twice and it kept disappearing... any idea what was up with that?

Did your icon vanish or did brave mysteriously uninstall?

I use firefox now. But slowly leaning toward brave.

Br*ve is a dandy browser!

What's not to like?

Works great, and would make a great platform.

I think they are competition to GLP.

but who knows???
 Quoting: Jake

Well.. it's mid April and I posted the above thread 2 months ago 1dunno1

Did you read the comment on twitter? Geeez I hope this comes to fruition. They seem to be experiencing the same dilemma GLP is. It's too bad conservatives can't get the hang of combining forces for the greater good. Sad to say, the libs seem to have mastered this technique.

Surprise!

The same evil that desires to destroy G A B and any other platform that will actually facilitate the free exchange of ideas is the exact same evil that decides what can be here and what cannot.

You should have caught on to this already.
