Soon after the rooftop video was first posted on Monday by someone from Sweden, I pointed out the flash and asked if it was the sun catching on something kind of large and metallic. The thread was moving so fast that no one really responded. I'm so glad this is being highlighted here now. Incidentally, in the full-sized video that same clip (not zoomed in), there is another person to the left of the left-most spire of that side transcept. Just milling about. So, at least two people. The flash in that video reminds me of firing up a road flare for the first time, or someone firing up an acetylene torch. On large construction jobs here in the us, we have a guy/girl who walks the area for at least 30 mins after anywhere welding or anything has been done. You would think on a job of this magnitude they would have that. Agreed. That's why many of us aren't buying the welding accident (or similar) theory.
