Not only that.....it is free to play and download. This coming from someone who up until now shunned online gaming like the plague. This is a major achievement like none other in gaming that I can think of. I never thought I would enjoy digital slaying so much, but I do, even if I am not a stellar player using builder pro. I play the game with my adult children, like they played monopoly with me when they were kids. It's just another game and another way for me to keep in touch with them and share some fun in our lives. The team rumble format is very forgiving and a literal blast, but if you have never played before, you first need to learn how to build to defend yourself and learn weapons and load outs, or you won't get very far. To do that, go into creative mode and practice, or just throw yourself into the game and learn through trial and error, but expect to get beat down until you learn to build up. |

My kids are a bit younger but it is a great thing to have in commen with them! It really is fun to play, even if I still suck at it after about 7 months of playing. I'm pretty certain I'm getting "killed" by 8 year olds every day. The cross format thing sucks tho, imho. We play on xbox..from what I understand, it's easier to play on a good gaming pc. Whatever. I'll keep playing my solo games and hiding in bushes as much as I can to survive as long as I can! |

I'll keep playing my solo games and hiding in bushes as much as I can to survive as long as I can! The cross format is getting better. My son uses PC, I am on PlayStation and my daughter and her husband use Xbox One. We usually don't have much issue playing or connecting into the same lobby, but sometimes there is a hitch. There is also android format and maybe one or two others (?), that cross plat too. Lol at the bush....... You are probably ok as long as you stay off the tennis courts and out of the cities. My son is crazy good. IMO......He routinely takes on squads alone and wins victory royals. (When I say alone, it usually means we loaded into squads as a two person team without anyone else, and I died and he just keeps going to the end). |
