Why are both Jesus & Satan described as lion/thief/morning star? | |

Yeshua is the Lion, Satan pretends to be a Lion....for deception and to bring doubt to the Christian just as he did with a third of the Angels in Heaven. He is the master liar. As for the thief, the verse does not call Yeshua a thief, it is a parable, no one knows the day or the hour of his return, but as if you stay vigilant that a thief is going to break into your house, you stay prepared. It is just a parable. Those that do not have a single thought of a thief breaking into their home, will be robbed, but the one prepared for the thief will not. |
