How does the NJC compare to the Ethiopian calendar?

I understand NJC is better, but how?

I've recently heard that the Ethiopian calendar hasn't been moved/changed/messed with.

According to the Ethiopian calendar, September 2019 (Julian) is the start of the year 2012.

What's the current date/year in NJC, please?

Isn't that a little brutal to tell a colander salesman? Has all of the good and decent liquid been drained from your being??

Does your calendar at least get rid of daylight savings? It's an annoying thing to remember. Or could we at least always go back an hour and never forward? That would be awesome thanks.

Another thing. Could you make the Sabbath the same day for everyone too? Chic filet closes on the wrong day.
