Switched from cigarettes to vaping earlier today...

No. Cigarette smoking never confirmed to cause lung cancer. It does destroy lung tissue.

I’ve switched from smoking to hurting today. Don’t mind the oxygen high but it’s still for shit.

There are 0 cases of popcorn lung from vaping.
Popcorn lung as the term suggests comes from workers being exposed to diacetyl in popcorn factories.

That chemical is not used in any vaping liquids.

Correction, some liquids have diacetyl at 9 mcg, while cigarettes also have it at 330 mcg.

Why would anyone put diacetyl in the vape juice unless too harm people intentionally?

Discetyl WAS used in some vape liquids, but it's been about 3-4 years now since it was banned.

I started vaping about 5 months ago, and haven't touched a cigarette since. The shit is magic. Lovin' it.

Im using 2 different ones. The Smok Infinix and the Sourin Air. Mr Salt-E nic salts Turkish tobacco flavor. Damn close to my old Camels. Been 4 months since my lat smoke. Getting ready to switch to subohms so I can start weaning myself off of the nicotine...

The place i get some removed all of the flavours with diacetyl, which came in from certain flavours. Popcrn lungs is complete bullshit if you buy good local clean juice, nothing from China should be allowed

So you switched from knowing the side effects to not knowing about the synthetic chemicals laced with THC or Nicotine (depending on your choice) and possible having your face blown off. Good Choice, tell me in 10-15 how your health is. I mean they do smell good with all the flavors. I like to smell the strawberry doughnuts. Also I know ppl that mix flavors, try that. Also your taking in more Nicotine than you were smoking. Got to have that big inhale! It taste so good and its just liquid...………. Where they getting that Nicotine? Its companies that sell cigarettes.

i was able to quit smoking by vaping. Took 8 months. I weened myself down by making my own juice. I started with 18mg for about 5 months and started going with lower nicotine dosage til one day I never even thought about the vape. Haven't vaped of smoked since.

I've been cigarette free for about five years now. Switching to vaping was the only way I would stop.

I feel great. I remember in my early twenties I started to notice I needed to sleep on my back sometimes because breathing wasn't quite comfortable in other positions (I had started smoking at age 13 so I probably had a decade of constant smoking at that time). Kind of a wake up call to actually feel my lungs were compromised at such a young age.

I don't have that issue anymore. Lungs work fine, nose isn't all dry and stuffy, I can smell stuff, more stamina, et cetera.

A couple of recommendations based off my own mistakes while attempting to quit, if I may, although it sounds like you won't need them. But, here goes: don't try to save money by buying a cheap device or the e-cigs that are actual cigarette size. They're not powerful enough for most former smokers and won't stay charged all day, which makes it harder to not reach for a cigarette.

Make the investment now, or else you'll spend tons of money on different cheap alternatives and will continue smoking cigarettes until you wise up and invest in a quality device.

Secondly, don't try to jump in the deep end by switching to vaping AND lowering your nicotine intake massively at once. Get something with enough nicotine to satisfy your cravings completely. Later on, when you have a good amount of smoke-free time behind you, you can reduce the nicotine.

Anyway, I'm happy for you! Vaping is a great thing. I probably would never have quit otherwise, and know many others who were only able to quit by switching. It's saving so many lives - it's awesome.

I switched to vaping after smoking for 36 years. My kids got me all set up with a rig and nice juices etc and I was sooo mad! I didn’t want to try it but I had too and I’m glad I did.

I’m going to order off Amazon UK cuz I’ve had the same issue, but a few years ago I bought lots of capers.

Only caused by an additive that nearly all reputable and non China made e-liquid has eliminated and to be absolutely sure organic or nic salts mixed with eliquid is best anyway.

Way healthier and any other study is completely false and put out by the tobacco industry.

Except for battery explosions and needing to insure devices have top notch batteries that shut off over charging and good rechargers.

So did you just stop smoking altogether, or did you mix it up for a couple weeks before going fully to vaping?

I have two good vapes now, a Smok Alien and a Joytech AI/O. Tried the cheapo pens and like you said, they don't hold a charge, and the tanks crack and leak.

Been smoking for like 30 years. Insanity, actually. I want to make the switch, but it's pretty different. Just looking for tips on changing over.
