Glad they caught these young kids, so they can get the help they need. I knew kids that planned crazy stuff in school in Jr. High to harm or harass others. But, they never had the courage to follow through.

The following is quoted from the article linked above:

"No weapons were found in either of the students' homes, according to authorities. Deputies searched for weapons and other evidence relating to the plot, but found no weapons in either residence."

Slim evidence.

No weapons found.

This could easily be stupid kids fantasizing about revenge on bullies.

I had a nice illustrated "hit list" my freshman thru senior years at work. Several customers were depicted being massacred in different hilarious ways. Lots of customers and all the employees saw it.

Come to think of it I'm pretty sure at least 2 local cops saw it.

Sad times. I hope this was just fantasy. Unfortunately this isn't the 1980's and everyone is on edge, afraid and a snitch.

Don't be stupid and please don't shoot up a school.

Well I don't blame the parents. There were no weapons found, the rumored "hit list" was not found, basically some kids had a fantasy about getting back at other kids who were probably hurting them and it got blown out of all proportion...once again.

Eleven year old masterminds into the school shooting plot that was thwarted in Crossville Tennessee.

"School Officials go apeshit and have two 12 year olds arrested on a hunch."

Funny.. several times a year in Baltimore city alone, students are caught with firearms.

I'm sure this happen frequently in Democratic control cities and makes no nation wide coverage.

Now, white kid gets caught. . . . . .

When you have active shooter drills for 4th graders, it puts the idea in their head that it's something that's a normal occurence.

Every school has a couple that get the idea put in their head. Media coverage causes this shit.

Amen. I'd rather read about a school shooting being stopped than it happening.

Nicholas Cruz told everyone he was gonna be a professional school shooter. For obsessing over school shootings and making threats, Cruz was turned in to local, state, and federal authorities, but nobody acted. Then he shot up a school and ppl bitched over how preventable it was.

My area will not be the next Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Columbine, or Sandyhook.

You are VERY correct on this! Media feeds the thoughtform - school shooter. Gives it nice nutrition w/ constant coverage. When school shootings happen media should cover the lives of the victims and not glamorize the shooters.

This is rural Tennessee. Nobody would ever entertain the notion of anti-gun laws.
