And change countries often.

Why? Not because of GLP, but because of the Deep State.

It is every patriots right and duty to stay as anonymous and private as they can.

Anyway, when proxy software shows up in your browser's installation and your mother starts using them, maybe they're not really so super secret or such a threat after all.

That's a very good point.

The key is in finding a VPN host that handles a lot of traffic. And if you are passing encrypted https packets back and forth, they have to do a lot of work to see what everyone is passing through their own site, even if they wanted to.

It is one thing to be passing data packets, even encrypted data packets, with very critical data like financia data. Still dangerous.

But, if I pass a lot of web surfing encrypted data through a busy VPN, they are going to have a hard and expensive time decoding it all.

So, can it be cracked? Yes.

Is it worth it? No, not usually.

But, people here give it to them free!

Make them work for it!

Let me give you an example.

I might pass encrypted https packets through my VPN once in a while. But, I might surf everyday using my VPN connecting to https encrypted sites like GLP. Not much good stuff to see there.

It's all about heavy bandwidth usage to protect yourself from your own VPN host.

Or worse, when they don't have anonymity.

They can't kill us all. Fuck the dumb shit!

When I make purchased or pay for trips and lodging, I always use a VPN and I change the IP often.

Not because I have to, but because it's none of their business.

Oh, by the way, I use a VPN service provider that has it's administration in a Central American country and over 100 different VPN IP servers in countries all over the world.

Right now I'm physically in a foreign country traveling, but I'm connected through a third country's VPN server. And the connection to GLP is of course encrypted https.

All that the VPN Host sees in each packet that passes through it's server is gibberish.

As I said, the key to security with a VPN is huge throughput by the VPN Provider and ALWAYS use https when possible.

Using Norton Anti-virus usually means that you are running Windows.

I don't want to get into a cat fight, but just consider this, using an old pc and installing Linux Mint on it and use it as your " alternative" web surfing PC.

It's free, no anti-virus needed and it's safe.

Now, the VPN choice. Cheap or free VPNs are dangerous. Choosing a VPN is like choosing a ladder, not something to by cheap. Usually a free or cheap VPN has lot's of ads.

Choose a VPN based on these criteria:

- best web reviews

- number of paid users, the more the better (high usage throughput)

- how long have they been around

- pay a least $30-$50 dollars a month for a good VPN host (maybe cheaper if you buy a 6 month or 12 month contract)

Anyways, just my thoughts. Each to his own though.
