I agree, it would be the final sealing of the deal and he'd be unbeatable.

I believe it would cost him votes of the strictly religious, as well as ultra conservatives. I know a lot of the strictly religious and ultra conservatives. Only 1 out of one hundred would not vote for him if he did this. Why? Because almost everyone has had someone they care about die of cancer, and they KNOW it cures cancer pretty regularly. They certainly would not advocate for giant stoner parties or anything like driving under the influence. Also, many independents and some fairly left people WOULD, so I really think it would be a big win.
