Trump needs to decriminalize weed now.

Pot heads are fucking stupid. They think they are really winning something with the legalization of weed. What they fail to understand is they wont just be free to do what they want, they will be made held accountable for it.

The weed will be controlled worse than alcohol or wild game meat.

They will want all of it documented and commercialized and taxed.

He could do so on the Federal level, but that would only result in it becoming a state issue.

There are also legal obstacles. Nothing that couldnt be overcome, but I'm not sure it would be in his best interest to do so before he wins his second term.

And it would devolve to the states and they would have to enact legislation and until such a time, depending on the terminology used to decriminalize, it could be a little bit of a free for all.

But rest assured that every single State has driving while intoxicated laws, so if someone were to drive impaired, it would be handled just like a drunk driving arrest.

I know a lot of the strictly religious and ultra conservatives. Only 1 out of one hundred would not vote for him if he did this.

Why? Because almost everyone has had someone they care about die of cancer, and they KNOW it cures cancer pretty regularly.

They certainly would not advocate for giant stoner parties or anything like driving under the influence.

Also, many independents and some fairly left people WOULD, so I really think it would be a big win.

What you are referencing is the bandwagoners who would begin to buy the main streamed gmo weeds that would certainly sprout from legalization.

I don’t really care about weed one way or the other BUT from what I can tell the states that are decriminalizing it are only doing so in a way that creates a bunch of new state run cartels. The state allows a handful of growers and shop owners of their choosing and then restricts who profits from it. Doesn’t exactly seem like altruistic legalization, rather redirecting the flow of cash from one group of crooks to another.
