By doing so he will stop the problem of all the idiots moving across the country and taking weed across state lines, he will kill the mexican cartel weed trade, take the profits out of drug dealers hands, and reinforce himself as completely unbeatable in the next election.
Mr President if you are reading this please just do so.
Decriminalize nation-wide, leave the particulars to the states ( like the way states handle liquor licenses and alcohol sales)

The state allows a handful of growers and shop owners of their choosing and then restricts who profits from it. Doesn’t exactly seem like altruistic legalization, rather redirecting the flow of cash from one group of crooks to another.
