If the mass media can legally spin events and command the narrative, instead of the narrative speaking for itself and they just reporting it without analyzing it and interpreting it, then no amount of marching for peace is going to protect rights unless both sides of the story can be presented in their entirety....

Just marching around with signs etc. really do nothing. For a protest to work you would have to be willing to take and occupy the very halls of power, and do it with no weapons. Some would probably be killed. And even then it may not have enough impact for change.

People are too comfortable right now. When you're fat and happy there is little need to protest. I fear that will change eventually, however.
