You removed the part of my response where I said THE TRINITY is clearly shown in the scriptures. Three in one. Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit PROCEEDED forth from God the Father. 3 from 1. Why is this so hard for anyone to understand? Even the OT mentions it. Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? w hat is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?It is not some catholic made up doctrine. The trinity is completely biblical, and guess what? Jesus didn't just show up in the New Testament! Even the NT talks about Jesus being with God in the beginning. (John ch1) Who do you think Jacob wrestled with? Who do you think Moses and the priests saw on Mount Sinai? Why would anyone want to lesson who Jesus is? He is the only way, the only truth and the only life. Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That is not a contradiction.
