Let’s just sell them online and be done with the charade. Degrees have value because they are scarce, yet the Australian model is to devalue them and in doing so, punish every Australian for generations to come.

Some 78% of Oxford University students are UK residents. Only 12.2% are foreigners – the remaining 10% coming from the EU. Here is the data:

[link to www.ox.ac.uk (secure)]

Why is it that the UK keeps the lion’s share of places for domestic students? Simple. It is national economic suicide pact to throw open the doors of your primary research universities to foreign nationals – and then compete with them. It devalues an Oxford Degree to have them mass produced. It shows no respect for national communities of learning being assets paid for and produced by generations of UK citizens. Oxford is a UK institution and it is being defended as one for the benefit of people in the UK.

In Australia our tertiary institutions are being devalued and flogged off as a commodity by grubby little toads like Phil Honeywood and Ms Tehan’s little boy Dan. Our Tertiary institutions have been treated like Australian gas reserves. None of our politicians get it (LNP or ALP), nor are they serious about learning and innovation. How can they be if they are doing everything in there power to make Australian degrees worthless?"

The above segment, aired over the weekend by 60 Minutes Australia, features a whistle blower working in Sydney at Chinese real estate developer Poly Developments and Holdings. The whistle blower explains how staff were instructed by the company to urgently find masks and medical supplies anywhere they could, including from pharmacies across Sydney.

The whistle blower said he saw tonnes of gloves, masks, gowns, sanitiser and other vital medical supplies being packaged in his Sydney office to be sent to China:

“Meeting rooms, lunch rooms and the boardroom, starting to be filled with different types of items getting unpackaged and repackaged and labelled,” he said.

“It definitely rose my suspicion. The concern to me is if all these medical items leave the country, what’s left for us?”.

“It is very unsettling that essential equipment can just leave our borders in massive commercial quantities”.

Other Chinese real estate companies operating in Australia did likewise, including Greenland Group and Risland.

Then the CCP requisitioned foreign-owned medical supply factories in China, thus ensuring they could no longer supply the world.

For its part, Health Minister Greg Hunt stood by passively and allowed the pilfering of Australian medical supplies to happen, claiming we had an adequate stockpile of masks and protective wear.

Worse, the Morrison Government only banned the non-commercial export of PPE such as face masks, hand sanitiser, gloves and gowns last week.

The end result is that Australia’s front-line medical staff are now dangerously short of protective wear, placing them at grave risk of contracting the coronavirus.

What a mess.

Its not third world by any means. Clean water and sound infrastructure .too much taxation and greed are causing grief for lower income people , plenty of rage and social discontent. But sanitation, social security and medical benefits are good. Third world? I cant imagine...
 Quoting: allasaurous

Now Canada is third world country by that standard. Once you get away from the urban areas close to the American border, things get pretty backwards. Clean tap water (or any tap water) cannot be found on many northern reserves. Fortunately, the water in the lakes and rivers is usually clean enough to drink... as long as the water is deep and cold (no beaver shit etc.)

It wasn't covered up at all. The truck driver was charged today and it was all over the local news.

However, the truck driver was just another drug driver in an albeit horrendous accident.

The focus was more on the 'white guy' as he has an extensive criminal past and is a pathetic excuse of a human being.

The body-cam of the female police officer killed recorded him taunting her as she lay dying and asking for his help. He then left the scene and proceeded to put video and pictures of the dead officers and carnage on Facebook.

That is why the 'white guy' is the focus of all the attention.

I don't need to watch that video.

I watch the Australian news live and also read it daily, first hand.

I don't want to watch selected portions of this news story from a YouTube video. What would I gain from doing that?

Yes, you can easily get the wrong impression of a situation when you're only getting selected facts from a likely biased source.

I never got the impression that Pusey killed the officers. His actions led to the accident though. That was obvious but was not stated.

Like I mentioned before, the focus was mostly on Pusey because he committed an unusual and exceptionally low act, even for a criminal. Perhaps that kind of criminal behavior is common in other regions, however, it is uncommon in Australia. So it understandingly gets major attention.

Pusey's (Asian) girlfriend also got the ire of people for her uncaring attitude and for flipping the bird when asked what she thought of Pusey's behavior when the police officers were laying there dying.

It also took several days for Singh to return to the spotlight because Singh was in hospital under police guard and unable to be interviewed immediately.

His home was raided the following day as drug paraphernalia was found in the truck. What he did and what happened to him immediately after the accident was reported unambiguously and was repeated in the news ad nauseum.

You need to find a better source than YouTube for your facts.

I’m with you 100% on this.
The finance guy with the flash car is a complete tool, but the police had caught him and pulled him over. RP did not do actual harm to anyone.

Then the Indian truck driver ran into the police and killed four of them. I don’t know if he is an Indian Australian, or a student working part-time to help pay for his quality Australian education, or a person imported to improve vibrancy or bring over some skill that is in short supply in Australia. I don’t know these things because the media hasn’t told me, and the media is more interested in the white guy who was pulled over by the police, BEFORE they were flattened by the Indian.

What I do know is that that scum should not have been let anywhere near the controls of a massive truck. I’d like to know who gave him his license to drive and why.

Initially there seemed to be a suggestion that the driver had blacked out or had some sort of fit. That now seems not to be the case and his passing out happened after the crash.

I think the guns will now be pointed at the driver.

He ‘passed out’ after accident in a ploy to suggest he may have passed out before accident.

Phone records will prove he was on phone talking and distracted.

Indian was probably a “student” on a visa studying and Singh’s Truck Driving School

At Singh’s Truck Driving School, we have instructors and assessors who can get you the training you need for your dream profession before you start the job.
We are confident to put confidence into someone who has no confidence driving trucks with confidence. We have taken the fear out of many learners and now they are operating in the trucking industry, some of them are highly successful.

The body-cam of the female police officer killed recorded him taunting her as she lay dying and asking for his help. He then left the scene and proceeded to put video and pictures of the dead officers and carnage on Facebook.

That is why the 'white guy' is the focus of all the attention.

ˆI read your medias said for many hours maybe days that Pusey caused deaths

Only later they said Singh

Yeah pass judgement over a country because you have met a few of them..

Reality is you haven't met any old boy, hard to meet people from mummies basement.

Thankfully for your country im a libertarian, i dont judge a person by their assoicated group of people but judge a person by their actions.

It wasn't covered up at all. The truck driver was charged today and it was all over the local news.

However, the truck driver was just another drug driver in an albeit horrendous accident.
