Something else that fast tracks integration with Chinese/Asians is the high rate of inter-marriage. Walk around the Sydney CBD and every 3rd couple is Aussie guy Asian girl. I'm also seeing more Aussie girl Asian guy. Not many, but 10 years ago, almost never. I see some Indian girls with Aussie guys but almost no Indian guys with Euro women.
The pressure by parents to marry the right Indian is immense.

Women in Australia have plenty of options in Australia and Asian men are at the very bottom of the totem pole of dating in Australia and are always seen as second rate options.
In fact Australia is even within these few years one of the worst in the world in the dating market for Asian men in terms of options. Network with others from multiple continents for their insights and balanced view and you too will see for yourself.

In all classes people seem to be so full of fear, we are a supposed first world nation with a somewhat intelligent population (in the middle to upper classes at least) but regardless of this everyone is so fear driven in their lives – fear of other people, fear of not getting approval from others, of not 'measuring up' materialistically – most people want to keep up with the Jones's. Fear of being offended, a few words can seemingly end peoples worlds and cause anger and violence.

On the roads everyone is in a BIG rush to go nowhere important. Tailgating and speeding, driving angry, running through red lights, causing mayhem and fatal crashes all to save three minutes off their journey.

Buying things they can't afford, car and home loans way out of their financial scope, using gossip and manipulation at home and at work, 'tall poppy syndrome' – Most Australians seems so darn threatened personally if they see or hear someone is doing better than them.

Australia is so different to what I've grown up with over 36 years. Aussies used to feel like regardless of cities we could lend a hand, have a sense of humor with other strangers etc. There seem to be so many more people who are proud to be low class, unemployed bogans than there are citizens working and with some self esteem about them.

Our standard of living is apparently rising, were are 'more connected than ever' but no one can say hello in public out of fear, everyone's heads absolutely BURRED in phone screens all day in every situation. seems like this stuff is getting worse each year? What is the reason for it? Is it simply more drugs in society and the impression of social media, facebook?
