Its not third world by any means. Clean water and sound infrastructure .too much taxation and greed are causing grief for lower income people , plenty of rage and social discontent. But sanitation,social security and medical benefits are good. Third world? I cant imagine...
Quoting: allasaurous Now Canada is third world country by that standard. Once you get away from the urban areas close to the American border, things get pretty backwards. Clean tap water (or any tap water) cannot be found on many northern reserves. Fortunately, the water in the lakes and rivers is usually clean enough to drink... as long as the water is deep and cold (no beaver shit etc.)
