Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. [John 6:53-55]

Those who are naturally minded will conclude that Jesus wants us to eat his flesh and drink His blood literally! As strange as this sounds to us now it was what many of His disciples thought. It's the reason most of them left Him. "Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?”...From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more..."[John 6:60,66]

All those who believe that the Father is a separate person to the Son are no different to these natural thinking disciples!

TheLordsServant and so many who have posted on this thread are natural thinking Christians. Their minds are completely closed. So when they read words like "Father" or "Son" in the Scriptures, they cannot but think naturally. They fail to understand that these Words have a different meaning beyond there literal interpretation. And as long as they continue to think that God is two or three persons they will remain spiritually blind to the Truth!
