It used to honestly be called revenge. Justice means we take it upon ourselves to be judge, jury and executioner, towards those who may or may not have done us wrong, often including the entire family or race of the supposed culprit. Of course with God it's different as he knows the truth always, but even then I don't believe God is as harsh as many believe.
