John McCain's resurrected army retakes Kafr Naboudeh

BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:30 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels have retaken a town they lost to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in northwestern Hama earlier on Monday.

Led by Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, the jihadist rebels launched a powerful counter-offensive along the Idlib-Hama axis in a bid to retake the western countryside of Kafr Naboudeh.

According to a military source in Hama city, the jihadist rebels managed to retake the town of Sheikh Idris after breaking through the Syrian Army’s lines.

While the Syrian Army still holds many areas they captured on Monday, the jihadist rebels were able to reestablish a presence in the western countryside of Kafr Naboudeh.

The jihadist rebels have been trying to recapture Kafr Naboudeh from the Syrian Arab Army for several days now; however, all of their attempts have repulsed thus far.

For the Syrian Arab Army, securing Kafr Naboudeh is a key part to concluding the first phase of their northwestern Syria offensive.
