Well, you never met them so I guess that’s understandable.

I was always the weird mom. Back before it was trendy, I avoided pharmaceutical drugs, especially vaccines, one of many reasons being the unknown effects on fertility. When their friends moms were taking them to get on birth control, I educated my daughters about the health risks of sex AND birth control. I also taught them to chart and know the signs of fertility and ovulation so they would be comfortable with their body and all it could do.

My girls are wise. They’ve been back and forth between homeschooling and public school, but I had them enough to raise critical thinkers and school had them enough that they saw the emotional bloodshed of their friends who gave it up too soon. They would bring them home to me to comfort, like wounded animals. I would tend to their bruised spirits while my girls watched and took it all in. Not only their friends, but even mine.They’ve seen friends who got an STD and had their reputation ruined as it spread around school, side effects from birth control and unwanted pregnancies. There is one friend who is pregnant right now. But it is the ones that ended in abortion that hurt them the deepest. They are sensitive and empathized with their friends situations enough to know that those things really suck and they want no parts of it.

I taught them, but I can thank the world for showing them I was right. And I can thank them for being wise enough to see through the bullshit. When they were younger it was just words, but as they got older they realized that the decision to have sex comes with tremendous responsibilities that carry tremendous consequences. They see sex as something so powerful that it needs to be protected by the right circumstances. And those right circumstances entail being married to a good man.

They want to be mothers so bad. My younger said she wishes she could skip the teenage years so she can go straight to being married. My older acts like a broody hen and said she wants 8 children! Crazy girl lol

But no, they aren’t lying. They are smart.

I actually showed them that post. They thought it was hilarious!! I said they were virgins, not prudes. I used that as an example that drinking causes one to loosen their inhibitions. Lol

They do want to be financially secure, but they aren’t going for “rich.” They are both pursuing their education and developing their talents so they can be useful and a help to their future husbands.

I hope not. Most everything we have came from men. But remember you come from and are nurtured by us. It’s a beautiful and complementary relationship.

They overcame more than that!! I was sexually abused as a child. Was a slut and even became a stripper. But I was healed in a deep and profound way and it changed me and therefore my life. I wouldn’t do anything differently. It is part of who I am and bc of my healing has made me a more compassionate person with a very wide perspective. But, yes I look at them and look at me and I don’t know how I could be so blessed.

I offer 500 goats, 8 camels and a 1988 Ferrari. Plus a Best Buy gift card with at least 200 bucks on it.

I love goats! I have two! But I avoid animals that spit and besides, I promised them they could pick their own husbands. Lol
