Yeah I think that would be the best scenario to come from this.

My little sister just annouced that she had an abortion several years ago in the midst of a messy divorce. Her reasoning was that the baby would take resources from her teen son and would be without a father. She claims she feels guilt for not feeling guilty about that decision.

My wife and I would have gladly taken that child and loved and cared for it.

As for the "needed resources", her son is currently living in deplorable conditions in a 40+ year old, dilapidated mobile home. No running water and black mold everywhere. I have just discovered this and we are working to get him in a more healthy environment.
