17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
In revelation the whore of Babylon uses "sorcery" to deceive the nations. Some have wrongly misinterpreted that word to mean drugs or hallucinogens. But it literally means sorcery... magic and spells. And no, I'm not talking about the Harry potter type magic. But magic that involves sacrifices and worship to demons in exchange for power on earth. The thing with demons who assist sorcerers is that with each favor they do for them, their "fee" increases. At some point the demons tell the sorcerer that their worship and sacrifice isnt enough anymore. They ask the sorcerer to get other people involved in serving demons. This is where we are right now.
The sorcerers of our age have been working for demons so long that they now need to get the general public to participate in their rituals. They are doing it with getting people involved in pornography, gay marriage, transgenderism, blasphemy and of course direct satan worship. The demons love it when humans go against the word of God. And then they reward the sorcerers with something for getting more people to serve demons.
As you can see, the sorcerer is like a junkie who's out of money and needs to introduce new customers to his dealer if he still wants to get his high. It is no longer a business exchange but he starts to work FOR the dealer.
So who are the sorcerers of this world? As you may have guessed, it's the people at the top most part of the unfinished pyramid.

17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. [King James Version; the New International Version Bible and the New American Bible use "hills" instead of "mountains"].
17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he comes, he must continue a short space.
17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.
17:12 And the ten horns which thou saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
17:15 And he said unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.
