I thought I'd pass this along as a weird side effect personal account of what happened.

Two summers ago I was involved with a spectacular dingbat who thought she would try her hand at lawn care. So she sprayed roundup liberally..but also around the ornamental pear tree where those..you know...weed things (shoots) grow.

It definitely stunted the tree and I hoped it wasn't going to die. But it came back and sprouted buds ...slowly...

Then this year it has super tight dense flowers...that last many times longer than the other trees that the dingbat did not poison.

I think the roundup in low dose stunted the growth or regeneration phase, making the bud state that much l9nger. Maybe a use patent for roundup bud enhancement?
