I know that makes no sense to most....I don't know what the answer is. But I know it must be terrible to always be in pain, though it sucks to see so many people addicted to pills. The OVERREACTION is worse than the original problem IMO. It is getting worse every day. Quoting: MogwaiHunter PM People with acute pain after surgery are being tortured. The more you push people out of the system and into the streets, the more are going to die. Is that the goal? Some people are allergic to aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen. Guess we should provide wood sticks for them to bite down on until they heal. Welcome to AI legislation. I feel bad for the people who really need it and don’t abuse it. My Mom was dying from cancer in 2015 and her doctor had her pretty much on Vicodin 24 hours a day, the pharmacy made her feel so bad one day she came home crying. I went there and said she’s been a customer her entire life with you guys, she’s dying of cancer and you make her feel like a junky? They claimed they didn’t know she was so ill. I was so mad, after that she never had a problem but she only lived about 3 months. ~With forethought and malice Whitless enacted an EO giving nursing homes immunity from wrongful death prosecutions, forced them to take in infected patients and is responsible for over 6500+ nursing home deaths~ |

I know that pain pills are a dangerous tight rope. Obviously not everyone abuses them, but the people with prescriptions who do abuse them probably started out simply in pain, and then it escalated. It's so bad here that some doctors won't even see people with a history of use because they "doctor shop" when refused more pills. Then they sell everything they have to buy them off the street. Fuck the licensed drug dealers ruining lives. My professional neighbor was given opiods for migraines. He had to do 90 days in rehab after just a couple months. Couldn't get off them. My old boss had bypass surgery, where they had to go back in quick, and they cut his ribs. They wouldn't heal, because of all the coughing that follows bypass. Gave him opiods. 65 years old and he ends up in rehab for opiod addiction after just 6 weeks on the stuff. He said trying to stop felt like he was going to die. |

I myself see a pain management doc, I have stage 5 kidney disease & the meds let me keep working for my family, without them there is no way way I could do my job, I own a small cleaning biz & only work 15 hours a week, but they're great accounts & help keep us going I am on Hydromorphone, its 1 step up the chemical chain from the usual pain meds, easier on my kidneys Anyway & this is the important part, no matter how many you take, you will not get "high', there is no buzz at all, pill heads avoid this opiate like crazy But it does kill the pain! For 4 hours I feel almost like my old self before I became sick, I have energy & can move around The really weird thing about Hydromorphone (pills) in it's liquid form, known as Dilaudid, it will get you high as a kite? Be strong, be of good courage, God bless America & long live the republic. . |
