I understand the PayPal thing, I do agree that it’s pretty shitty and low of them, and I hope that the interest of preventing the same thing here will prevent me from a ban, but it HAS happened here. How many times has someone asked for a poster here to be banned because they posted something questioning Donald Trump’s authority? Now the same people don’t like being banned from the same social media sites that they claim on GLP they NEVER go on, and don’t give a shit about. The issue with PayPal is more so than being put in the corner by Zuckerberg will be. Hell, I’m on a 30 day ban ban right now. Why? Because someone posted “I think women should be able to kill their babies.” to which I responded “I think babies should be able to kill their mothers”. lol. Stupid and petty as hell right? Well, regardless of how dumb, that’s how it works when you’re agreeing to utilize a privately owned platform. I like GLP; but I wouldn’t e-mail the government because I felt that I was discriminated against a religious belief, I just wouldn’t go.

Call outs are against the rules, don't do it. The problem some of you don't seem to understand is that alternate platforms like this are under a coordinated attack. You say Facebook, Twitter, YouTube all have the right to ban whoever they want and to go make your own platform, but then when conservatives do that the powers that be attempt to silence and shut down the alternative platform by cutting off their ability to do any business, cutting off their payment processors one after another, cutting off their banks, etc. The whole excuse that we should go make our own platforms was a lie from the beginning, which is why this site and hundreds of others are now openly on a black list to try to destroy us. The truth is that it was never about a platform's right to ban people, it was always about trying to censor free speech by any means necessary.
