I hope some of them got away. They were young. Like 3 months old. If I see that f-er again, I'll respect that he's a bear and that he just does what he does. Nature. this is going to sound ridiculous buttttttt If one could engineer a automatic turret that shoots out a water jet or even pepper spray and you rigged it along the border of your livestock property to protect from wildlife wouldnt kill the bear, and the bears would learn fast to stay away Im sure theres some gay law against this though even though the tech is definitely available |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75187366 A raccoon once broke into my mother in laws chicken coop and killed all of her sixteen silky chicken just for sport. She was devastated. Oh that's horrible. Silkies are really nice and unique little birds. Expensive too. Yeah, I'm going to reinforce the coop. Maybe try a little psychological warfare on the bear too. Or shoot it (but probably not). Won't really help too much though, given there are a ton of other bears out here. And I also have to contend with the foxes, coyotes, raccoons, bobcats and mountain lions. |
