SOCAL RESIDENTS OUTRAGED AS HOMELESSNESS CRISIS CONTINUES TO CRIPPLE THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS

As the Marcellis walk through the neighborhood, they see encampments, shopping carts and tents with homeless people sprawled along the sidewalk.

Rick Marcelli claims it has gotten worse.

"It upsets me to see a human being having to live this way. And our politicians won't come out and really help them," he said.

Twenty-one months since funds generated from the Measure H sales tax started flowing, the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative says it has helped 14,000 people into permanent housing and 28,000 people into emergency shelters.


"The number of families and adults that we have helped move into permanent housing from homeless just in 2018 is unprecedented. More than double what it was from three years ago," Homeless Initiative Director Phil Ansell said.

In Harbor City, conditions have deteriorated over the past few decades - with some sidewalks littered with trash, occupied by tents and packed with shopping carts overflowing with belongings.

Harbor City residents Lori and Caney Arnold call it a human tragedy.

"Why can't we help people now? We have a tent city that's on the street. People don't like it," Caney Arnold said. "Well, let's set up transitional housing. Maybe a tent city or maybe temporary structures where people get not just shelter, but also services."

Ansell explained why a public health emergency hasn't been declared.

I was working for UHaul this past Summer from home, and many calling in moving from California

They told me then that California was not the same, and that I never wanted to come back there.

They said there are homeless everywhere, human waste, clothes strung up to dry on strings, and complete craziness there

I had a friend there, who was always an independent hard working woman, and then suddenly for years now, she just decided she would do nothing with her life at all, but live out of her car and on the street with the homeless, who she says are her real friends. She will NOT do anything to change her situation, she seems very happy and content living like this.

Whatever Microchips are in them, have turned healthy hard working people into complete degenerates and happy about it.

"they" sold houses to everyone and many of those homes are now underwater. Prior to the 80's damn near everyone who wanted a house could get one AND pay for it.

"they" made and encouraged mom's to work rather than staying home to nurture their families.

"they" flooded the media with whores to destroy families.

The list goes on and on.

All of these things and more have contributed to homelessness. Now I am not saying that there aren't homeless people out there who don't have personal responsibility by any means but damn! there is a very real problem with people and an even bigger problem with peasants and their own pecking order. If things don't change, it's only a matter of time before it's your turn. I'm not blaming the homeowners, of course they don't want to be run out by homeless people but what are and can we do to fix it. Nothing and we will continue to do nothing, it's all been done on purpose; by design.

The first part of my life, we had a beautiful home on the beach in SoCal. I went back in the early 80's to visit and it was a shit hole then, I can only imagine what it is like now :(

Also they murdered people who are up against them. A dear friend was poisoned she was running in the election for the paradise area. Her husband found her dead they called it heart attack and shortly after reopened due to strange circumstances. She was poisoned.
