I bought silver at $5.30 in the early 2003s
my late husband designed jewelry and we used it to cast SILVER...so we had purchased ahead.

I sold some for $33 a while ago.

I like it around 14..have 500 oz..1000oz is about all I will go..its just a security blanket against hyper inflation, not a traditional investment in my mind

Its hard to know where silver is going with the continued massive shorts, and the fact that in the past 20 years has become such a critical industrial metal. For a couple of years it traded in a very narrow band around 17, but since last July has spent most of its time in the 14's.
88-1 ratio with gold is getting pretty ridiculous though.

So in other words, I have no clue what is going to happen with it unless there is war or hyperinflation.

No you cannot buy it for $7 US per troy ounce. It's as simple as that.

The metals are being seriously manipulated so there can't be a correlation between a rise in prices and inflation. Problem is, the current price is exactly what it costs to get it out of the ground. Mines are going to shutter because it's too costly to run. It will give sooner or later... probably much later... but it will correct. And fuck the fed and global bankers to hell.
