Anonymous Coward User ID: 77661141 Portugal 05/19/2019 04:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Victo☈ Gensini @gensiniwx · 16h My way too early take on Monday TOR probs, along with a forecast composite chart. Storm motion speeds will make chasing difficult. 0-1km bulk shear should result in long-track tornadoes, some likely being sig/violent given combos of ESRH/CAPE. *NOT OFFICIAL SPC FORECAST* View image on TwitterView image on Twitter Victo☈ Gensini @gensiniwx My day 2 update based on latest guidance. This is a pretty remarkable synoptic environment. I'd entertain a small contour of 45%. pic.twitter.com/rnfVHDb5KE |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77661141 Portugal 05/19/2019 06:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | SCGOOSE (Andrew Price) • 2 minutes ago Severe weather threat tomorrow unfortunately has fairly low bust potential. All the ingredients are there in excessive amounts that I can see. Only thing is a mcs could develop earlier than expected (increased wind threat, lower Tor threat) or the warm front doesn't make it into the areas of best forcing. (Too much forcing could also come into play) |

The EF-4 Lake Thunderbird/Shawnee #tornado occurred one day prior to the May 20th, Moore tornado. We’re headed back to the plains tomorrow. If you plan on chasing, be smart and safe. #okwx Moore was F5. It even pulled slab concrete out/off of the ground. I can't remember the swath or length of time on the ground, but it left devastation in the path. Moore was hit by another very powerful F5 tornado in 1999. Tomorrow of course is the 6th anniversary of the 2013 tornado. |

We are hunkering down and are prepared with fully charged batteries, candles, gas for the generator, etc. If there are any tornadoes within a quarter mile of here then it'll all be for naught as we live in an unsecured 20 foot travel trailer. Anything over a 70 to 80 mph wind will topple it off the cinder block base it is raised upon. We are hoping for the best... DOOM is what you make of it. |

Quoting: Gyro Geargoose I made a chain locking system so the door can't fly off and it's registered with the local fire dept. We are 30 miles east of Tecumseh. The best we have out here in the sticks (16 miles from the nearest towns of Okemah to the north and Holdenville to the south) is a culvert on the border of the property. The creek that flows though the culvert ( a branch off the Little Wewoka) floods with enough heavy rainfall. With the prediction of 3 to 6 inches, possibly more, that option is out. We'll bode well. I always stay positive, even in the worst situations. Stay alert! DOOM is what you make of it. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77616382 United States 05/20/2019 03:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Parts of Texas and Oklahoma (from about just east of OKC and Wichita Falls to just east of Lubbock) are now officially under a high risk (the most severe category) for Monday. OKC, Norman, Tulsa, Wichita Falls, Abilene, and Lubbock are under a Moderate Risk(2nd worst) for Monday. Amarillo and Midland are in Enhanced Risk, though very close to the Moderate Risk area. Slight Risk extends into southeastern Colorado. It's going to be a rough day for much of Oklahoma and much of North Texas and the Texas panhandle tomorrow. |
