Good friend (male) is a senior exec. He's been at same employer for 30+ years and has a sterling reputation. He is demanding when it comes to accountability. A group of women in his organization got very upset when he fired one of their "clique" members. They conspired against him to try to get him fired.

He was accused of sexism and misogyny. Formal complaints were made to HR by multiple women. The only thing that saved him was that one of the clique had a crisis of conscience and ratted out the ringleaders for fake reports. She actually had recorded a conference call where they discussed in great detail how they were going to "get him". She played the recording for HR and saved the guy's job, family, reputation, etc. It was ridiculously easy for them to almost destroy him.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74775434

But the other women didn't get fired I bet. HR wouldn't go that far!

The guy should find a new job and quit with minimum notice. Not say a word about how to do his job, someone might interpret it as harassment.

"“We’re in a bad place — no one’s ever gotten promoted without a one-on-one meeting, I feel confident in saying that,” Sandberg tells “CBS This Morning” host Gayle King Friday. “Senior men right now are nine times more hesitant to travel with a woman and six times more likely to hesitate to have a work dinner.”

Women — and especially women of color — don’t get the same amount of mentoring as men, “which means we’re not getting an equal seat at the table,” Sandberg says. “It’s not enough to not harass us, you need to not ignore us, either.”"

Our old fashioned ancestors were wise. Men worked with just men and women worked with women and they were fine with this arrangement

Women are horrible in the workplace. Go back to the old arrangement of raising good kids and creating a happy home.My 2 most recent jobs were made miserable by their bitchy ways and I am a female.

I completely agree. I am extremely apprehensive to be leader that mentors females at this point in lengthy career. I don’t want to work one-on-one developing female colleagues anymore which is a part of what I have to do as a business executive.

What the minority female wants is the man to train her so she can take his job. I would make myself scarce. I can understand why corporations went to China now, to avoid being forced to put mentally ill women / minorities into positions of power.

You don’t understand how most businesses work. When a person gets hired, male or female, or when this person is designated as a high potential candidate for advancement , they have to be placed with a mentor for development. The mentor doesn’t have a say in it, they do what they are required to do.

Agreed. But if this person from today’s culture fails to comprehend and/or chooses to not apply their training it’s getting more common for a female to imply discrimination or harassment than to own their shortcomings. It’s never happened to me but I am aware it can. I’ve seen it happen to a couple of others over recent years that I know for a fact these individuals would never do what they were accused of. At least in both cases it was found they were not guilty of the accusations.

Oh I understand how business works, but you only need to do what you are required to do and not an iota extra (dinners, after work mentoring, etc.). I would go so far as to purchase a body camera. Your company will get the hint and stop giving you women to mentor, and or you will never be falsely accused of anything. It is a win win.

It is amazing how a young woman can manipulate a young man out of just about everything, but as time goes on and they overplay their hand.

It must be overwhelmingly impossible to deal with for them when all of a sudden..nobody wants them..it happens all the time

No wonder.

Too many women will make something out of nothing and do damage to men in the workplace.

It's a very good idea to never be alone with them.
 Quoting: Vicious Deplorable dollop

They are writing step by step handbooks on how to falsely accuse a man and destroy his life if he crosses you in any way or if you just don't like him:

How to Destroy A Man Now (DAMN): A Handbook

[link to www.amazon.com (secure)]

How to Destroy a Man Now: Truth or Satire?

According to the book, "....an allegation does not require evidence to DAMN because through media manipulation, it becomes its own evidence. Thousands--even millions of people can become organized against one man." The book goes on to correctly describe how authorities which consist of police, judges, bosses, schools etc. take punitive actions against a man by firing him, dismissing him from school, ruining his reputation and even imprisonment. The book states that no one will want to be associated with the ruined man or even believe him.

The end of the book states that men are easily destroyed because it is profitable: mainstream media gets eyeballs and advertisers, complaint websites make money from men paying them to remove false information, and lawyers get paid to defend men. This is a pretty accurate summary of the witch hunt against men in the 21st century whether the book is meant to be satire or not.

Wow. Look at all the 1 or 2 stars on that book.

So sick of all the feminazis ruining things for nice, good women, like myself. I feel sad for so many men.
