I completely agree. I am extremely apprehensive to be leader that mentors females at this point in lengthy career. I don’t want to work one-on-one developing female colleagues anymore which is a part of what I have to do as a business executive.
Quoting: Random NiNe Then don't. Women have been more than vocal about their perfection and abilities that rival and out class men in every way. They have made it abundantly clear "They don't need MEN". You don’t understand how most businesses work. When a person gets hired, male or female, or when this person is designated as a high potential candidate for advancement , they have to be placed with a mentor for development. The mentor doesn’t have a say in it, they do what they are required to do. Oh I understand how business works, but you only need to do what you are required to do and not an iota extra (dinners, after work mentoring, etc.). I would go so far as to purchase a body camera. Your company will get the hint and stop giving you women to mentor, and or you will never be falsely accused of anything. It is a win win.
