In reference to famine, have a look at this video, from the Oroville Dam thread, which references seeds and crops and weather disasters in the US.

The pollution has reached over to Guadalajara and Lake Chapala.....running nose, burning dry eyes, sneezing, cough. Blowing sand too. Praying for the rainy season to start.

Five stars. Sorry you are suffering this - hope the fires are soon out.

Were they lightning-started or something else?

Fires probably started by illegals invadeing Mexico n burning detainment centers!! That's what happened several days ago.burned down because invaders worried about somalis and Haitians disease etc n burned it to the ground

It isn't just some far away part of Mexico that is burning and on fire.

Tonight right outside where I live a fire got started on the mountain and spread like crazy... I thought I would have to leave. Got the cat in his cage and everything ready to go just in case but the firefighters and local people got it under control. It is especially difficult at night because you don't have the visibility and no helicopter was up with a bucket. The word out on the street is the fire was deliberately set. IMHO some psycho with matches or a lighter or some paid addict. Either way....the little chapel up on the mountain is toast as it some other structures. We are praying here for rain. The "rain birds are singing". But the rain is probably another month away yet. This fire business isn't funny. Everything is so so dry and crispy.

Try just for a few minutes and for the sake of this thread to refrain from your racist remarks or hatred or political biases and just wrap your head around the massive destruction of land on the planet that supports the lives of all of us. Think about all the wild life and species of many kinds being killed out. How can you be so callous at something like this?

Racism and hatred go hand in hand with the Internet and political biases are self preservation you bean eating tequila swilling Cabron.I really do feel for you though the smoke is really bad for you. Be safe , wey

Makes me sad a little chapel was burned, even if it was likely Catholic. Little chapels here and there are beautiful to stumble upon, giving us a reminder of our Maker and our purpose here.

Sorry this is going on. Terrifying to think anybody at all would start a fire in a place that is ready to go up in flames at the slightest provocation. That's sickness, for certain!

Fires are still bad and it doesn't look like rain for almost a week.

Best of luck down there.
