Cops just can't stop anyone at anytime for any reason and demand we show them our papers. Actually, in most states they CAN, legally even if it's not legal, it's better to comply . Show your ID, explain yourself, then be on your way Or, you can be one of those "I know my rights!" idiots and escalate things, then end up dying from a restraint hold or being tased. the choice is yours They are dumbing you down so you don't even know your rights (success on their part with you) and they want to make you not care when your rights are violated (another success for them with you). This way when they take away your rights you won't even care or notice. Perhaps you'll even vote them away. Dumb down each generation dumber than the last, that's how they're doing it. Learn your rights and don't let them violate them or they will take them away.
