Overcame alcoholism through AA. Was just about dead prior

Climbed up under a police squad car to place a GPS unit, at the behest of the city, to surveil the officer for a week. And at the moment I was to crawl out, a state cop, not privy to my mission, parked right where I was to get out and dissappear into the blackness. I only had 2 minutes that a confederate Sargent was suppose to distract him inside.
Luckily at exactly 2 minutes, the trooper, who would have emptied his magazine into me, got out and went into the PD and I was able to make my escape.
Only seconds after that, the officer got back in his car and left.
Getting ran over or being shot was a decision I was having to grapple with as I filled my britches with shit.

That successful Investigation took out that officer and his chief who voluntarily resigned in embarrassment.

I ran with scissors once.

Saved a family from a burning car is probably the one I'd pick. I'd rather save lives. It was messed up when the people were telling me I shouldn't help because I'd get sued. I told them to shut the fuck up.

Out drew a wanted man and murder suspect in my front yard. True story, documented by my local sheriff's office. A for real gunslinger draw at maybe 15 feet.

He was burglar, suspect in a homicide, and multiple felon that picked the wrong damn house.

I got to assist with an air strike on a building filled with terrorists. They never knew death was coming.
