Mind Blowing! I will probably never do it again, nor do I suggest you try and do that on a weekend getaway. I had prepared for months for the physical and mental toll an experience like that incur. If you are older than 25 years old, I don't suggest you do it due to the sever physical exertion required to reach the capacity for a full tilt Kauai Jungle Trail Run-on-Acid synchronicity. We would skip and jump from rock to rock to avoid colliding with tourists, it was like we were all world class gymnasts with unbelievable physical endurance and accuracy in the placement of our feet. The entire experience lasted for hours and I could never recreate the conditions for you to experience what I experienced, that day! |

I learned to fight and got a name for myself also learned how to survive in a rough area and some crime (I haven't broke a law in 20 years). My parents moved out there as did I after I graduated college. I have a good job now and my kids are blessed but when I hear people say white people are privileged I would like to offer than my childhood. Lets see if they still feel that way after. |

DodgerFan User ID: 23018545 Canada 05/19/2019 02:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I saved a girl from getting raped. Back in about 1989 I was working at Red Lobster and at the end of the night we had to bring out the garbage. Me and the dishwasher just started our garbage run. On the walk between the back door and the garbage bin we heard a cry for "Help" coming from the field in back of the store. We looked around and couldn't see anything so we dumped our trash and were making our way back inside when we heard "help" once again. This time we took a closer look because we had a better idea of where the sound was coming from and this time we could make out a shape of a person out in the field. I headed out in the direction of the figure while the dishwasher went and got the manager. The person in the field saw me coming so he stood up and started running towards the townhouses that are past the field. I continued walking out into the field and when I got to where the person was there was a girl laying in the grass with her clothes torn and she was crying. I helped her up as the manager and dishwasher arrived and we all took her into the store and called the cops. |

MarPep User ID: 77661812 United States 05/19/2019 02:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Two months ago went down the 1/2 mile driveway too fast on ATV, rolled it. Landed on the asphalt with head and elbow and hip getting whacked hard. Was on 2 blood thinners at the time. Checked myself--no long bone fractures, no internal injuries--other than I knew I was llikely gonna get a bleed inside my head. Pushed the ATV back on its wheels and off the driveway, walked back to house, called a friend to come bandage me up. Really sick that night with headache, nausea, weakness--too sick to call for help, really. Better the next day. After 10 days, the Headache got bad enough that I went in for CT scan--fair sized subdural hematoma (blood clot on brain). Neuro-surgeon said if its been 10 days and you're still walking and talking and thinking, wait another week or two and it will likely resolve--it did. Completely back to nurmal. _______________ They let me off with a warning and a couple of bullet holes. |

I could still feel the acceleration when I pushed the pedal to the floor at 160. It felt like the rear end was starting to float so a chickened out and stopped at 167. Also drove an Indycar at the Indianapolis 500 Speedway. Can't remember the top speed but it was less than the 167. I did mine on a KZ drag bike that I built. It still had spokes and those bikes are notorious for high speed wobble anyway (I'd done a lot to combat that, but not enough), and right as I hit somewhere between 158-160, the bars started to shake & that developed into a harmonic wobble that intensified so fast I barely had time to release the throttle before it would've twisted off & endo'd. Scary as hell but a notch in my belt that my pals wouldn't have believed had they not been on the ride as well. Dam Scrump. You are dam lucky to come out of that unscathed. I knew a guy that very same thing happened to going around 120. Dam near killed him. He was never the same. He broke numerous bones. Fortunately, he was leathered up with a racing helmet. |

Lance Roseman From BC User ID: 30616576 Canada 05/19/2019 02:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was young, 16, I heard an altercation going on the living room of my friends (I had my own room upstairs because I was there a lot, it was quite a distance to get home from) house, I got out of bed in my pj's and went downstairs to see my friends mom pinned up against the wall with a shotgun to her head with a drunken stepfather weaving about. So I moved his gun and stood in between them. He looked at me, with hostility...and then put the gun away and passed out. I wasn't afraid until later... I finally got tired of it, stood up and (at the top of my lungs) screamed "shut the f**k up you stupid fat N****s". It was on. They charged me and it was an all fight. I took them both on while the rest of the class just stood there confused about what to do. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73106219 The next day all the black kids in the school (4) came up to me at recess and tried to act tough. "you got a problem with black people?" they asked. I looked the "leader" in the eyes and said, "just the ones that call me honky while throwing shit at me." and I walked away. Never had a problem with them ever again. It had mods done to it by the guy I bought it from. Some wealthy guy who got bored with it. Was less than a couple of years old and had around 5000 miles on it when I bought it from him. He had one of his buddies make mods to it. Was a fun car but scary fast. That engine caught on fire because of a factory defect. Luckily the engine was covered under the warranty because it was a known defect. However, they accidentally printed it out as owner pay at the dealership. The bill was almost $14,000 just a damn engine. I did not have to pay for it. Only had the new engine for a few weeks when something broke in the turbocharger and sent shrapnel into the engine. At least according to the dealership. Neither of the second 2 engines were as fast at the first one. I sold the thing before it went out of warranty. .. I SAY....YOU WIN....YOU WIN THE MOST BADASS THING THREAD AWARD....YEP. YUPP. YUPP! |
