They killed our calves treed hunters cats and dogs disappeared. They were seen in town and the day my husband forced fish and game to bring their tracking equipment to our property they located 3 Cougars there.

I rolled my van 5 times at 100mph. I did not walk away. I flew away.. me and my girlfriend on a TruamaHawk helicopter.

My first and only ride in a helicopter.

I remember looking at all the knobs switches and lights in the helicopter. Then they knocked me out. I had broke my leg in 125 places. Still have the leg. It's got a lot of metal in it.


My girlfriend walked away from the wreck. She was covered in blood from biting through her lower lip. But no broken bones. She walked out of the wreck and went to call my mom at a strangers house by the accident scene. After she made the call she came back to the accident scene and layed down next to me in the middle of the road.

I was in the road because I tried to walk away from the accident. I promptly did a face plant into the road when my busted leg folded up on me.

Going into Iraq with the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. We didn't have a clue as to what we were heading into and it was a scary time. It was freaking miserable after the op and we had to stay in the black smoke and oil rain for weeks and weeks. I think my cancer today is related to that shit but the VA disputes my ideas. Oh well,
I am too old to have to worry about any of that again unless war comes to my front door. If it does, I am ready to defend my family and property.

I'll not give any story about myself, but I will about a man who lived on a neighbouring farm where I grew up in Australia.

His name was Jack and was captured in the fall of Singapore and was interred in Changi and later was forced to work on the Burma-Thai railway.

The first thing you noticed about Jack is that he was a huge man, he was 6 foot 5 inch and a massive man than the scars and facial injuries.

His size made him the focus of extra punishment and work which he would often draw upon himself to protect other prisoners who were suffering for all kinds of injuries, ailments malnutrition and tropical diseases.

He took on extra workloads risked himself to protect his mates and it cost him dearly, he died far too young he was a shell of his former self towards the end.

When he died his funeral was massive his mates honoured him for the life he made possible for so many of them.
