You do know that you can decline for me to see your receipt but people dont know this

The receipt BELONGS to you and you have no obligation to let anyone else see or hold it. why doesn't walmart make the checker responsible to the content of the basket and not some old lady at the door? Why doesn't walmart print two receipts and make one available to the door person?
