A youtube friend named Bald and Bankrupt does some great travel vlogs in and around the exclusion zone.

HBO is garbage.

This isn't a f'king travel vlog it is an docudrama, closer to the truth than a travel vlog.

Yeah I really like this guy. He's quite amazing with all of the languages he knows.

Watching episode one now.

But yeah I signed up for HBO just to be able to watch Chernobyl. I'm watching episode 2 again right now to get ready for 3 tomorrow.

But you really need to check out the YT documentaries about the dome they built for it. It's absolutely amazing the structure they built for it.

A lot of people on this forum are DOOM hungry, this is a great series for anyone who wants a good edge of your seat DOOM, along with cliffhangers. I like the show a lot too, can't wait for the next episode. Great miniseries indeed.

Ya, I'm not a huge fan of hbo and I actually use a VPN service to Torrent the shows I want to watch since I refuse to give them my money.

But so far so good with this little mini series.
It's only 5 episodes which bums me out.

But the one thing I find funny..is how everyone lives in these little piss ant places, and when you see the wonderful govt offices of socialist state they are pretty exquisite.

I think they have done a fantastic job with it all. On par of reality.

Ya I've seen a few videos of people going into the exclusion zone...pretty interesting and creepy.

Definitely a cool ghost town, if I had the money and time I'd be seriously tempted to go and explore.

I like how the tough guy leaders try to shut the problem away by screaming at anyone that tells them the truth but later on are pretty silent.

BTW, Fukashima is the same thing if not worse but it's a western nuke plant design so it was just hushed up.

Hey, no need to bash GoT. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

But yeah, Chernobyl is excellent. Aside from my main job as a research scientist, I'm a trained radiation safety officer and a radiation worker as well. So, Chernobyl is interesting from a professional point of view, too. They've dumbed down the lingo a bit, but not much.

I saw the trailer for this a couple weeks ago and looked pretty good so I've been looking forward to it. I had no idea it was out already.

I downloaded the first couple episodes today and was planning to watch them once all 5 parts come out but I couldn't wait and I ended up watching them.

This show is fantastic so far.

Much better than the HBO garbage. HBO is pushing the Green New Deal.

i'll watch it. please tell me there are no nudes in it because i can't view it in day time.

HBO does some great stuff. True Detective S1 was amazing, if you like crime dramas. Boardwalk Empire was also awesome.

Chernobyl looks good, I will watch at some point.
