Re: What supermarket do you shop at?
I usually shop at Firelake Grocery because it's close by. Walmart for the bulk items. We just got an Aldi's in the next town. Heard the meats and sausage is suppose to be good. May have to check it out, just don't like putting quarters in for a cart...

What is this fuckery of having to pay a quarter to use a shopping cart?....shocked

Discourages people from stealing them and encourages them to return them and not leave them in the parking lot?

Makes sense to me....

Mostly Kroger, Walmart for a few things and if I'm in a hurry and don't want to bother with traffic I'll run by Froogel's.
 Quoting: chuckles45

Froogel's?....that's really the name of a grocery store?
 Quoting: cosmicgypsy

It was McDade's and they got bought out and became Froogel's.
 Quoting: chuckles45

I got it after I posted, the word "frugal" and Froogel's....scratching at least that's what I'm thinking the name is supposed to mean.

No matter which way you look at it though, that's one messed up name for any kind of store....or really, anything.

Heh, I think the word Froogel's should be banned02 from the English language.

Well, I always return my shopping cart, but a quarter doesn't seem like a big payout....shrug

I'm not sure I'd go to a store where I had to pay to use the shopping cart...but that's me. Doesn't matter I'd get the quarter back.

Meh. Not really a payout. You get your quarter back.

Incentive.

Ahh, the Southern Trifecta. Miss those places.

Up here we have Stop & Shop, Big Y, and a few IGA’s.

Big Y has great meats and produce, but I hit Stop & Shop now. It draws a very strange crowd, but I go in and get out quick.

Sometimes bread and butter.
