Military Grade C4 Explosive Found in Arkansas Home-Suspect On The Run

A multi-agency investigation in Lonoke County results in two arrests and the recovery of drugs, guns, explosives and over $212,000 in stolen property.

The Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation began last Wednesday after a traffic stop by an Arkansas State Trooper a few days earlier.

The investigation led authorities to Indian Lakes where numerous stolen items were located including a 2019 Keystone Springfield Camper, 2019 Ford Mustang, 2019 Ford F-150, 2017 Ford F-150, three ATV’s, two UTV’s, a Kubota tractor, two utility trailers, several guns, drugs and a half pound of US Military C4 explosive.

Arrested were 37-year old Christian Blair Baldwin and 38-year old Jessica Smith, both of Cabot.

Several arrest warrants were issued for Chad Wells and he is being listed as Lonoke County’s Most Wanted Fugitive. Wells is considered Armed and Dangerous.
