A bizarre story out of Sweetwater where a man claims his van, covered in campaign material for mayoral candidate Jose Diaz, was shot at. The incumbent mayor & police chief are skeptical, and called a news conference to explain why. [ link to twitter.com (secure)] SweetwaterPD have made an arrest in this case BUT we still don’t know if it’s someone who’s been arrested for shooting at this van, OR if someone was arrested for filing a false report.
