Leotard, when there is a demonstration, against anything, other people and groups will both join it and also try to derail it for their own purposes...organize a legalize weed protest somewhere, and the crowd will be joined by people with Save The Whales posters and Stop the War banners. it's the nature of a protest. But the GJ are protesting austerity. They are being oppressed by the cops, but their cause is apparently important enough to them to keep protesting despite police violence.

I think this can happen in any other city where is not live stream from. We see only Paris and sometimes Toulouse every week. But most violent protests are almost always at another city - Nantes, Lyon, Marseille etc.
