Guy offered me his wife if Matthijs De Ligt moves to Manchester United

For Americans who have no idea what the fuck i'm talking about. In the football (soccer) world there's a player named Matthijs De Ligt who will be moving clubs in the coming months. According to the media his 2 palatable options for new teams as it stands are Barcelona in Spain and Manchester United in England.

This guy who is my neighbour was adamant that the player would not choose Manchester United his exact words were "He's going to Barca mate no chance he ends up at those cunts". I said to him that how can he be so sure because after all money talks and if they pay him a kings ransom to come there he will come make no mistake, athletes move for money. He looked at me and said "Mate those cunts don't have a chance of attracting the best players any more if he ends up there next season you can come upstairs and shag our Hayley (his wife)" and then he kept saying "yeah yeah shake on it then" "shake on it" until i shook his hand and accepted the bet.

The problem is this guy was drunk, I mean it's almost 7pm here and he's been drinking since about 2pm and he told me this deal at around 4pm today.

If this player changed teams will this guy stick to his deal or he's only saying it because he's drunk?
