REPORT COPYRIGHT VIOLATION IN REPLY
Message Subject Bought a new turntable, but there is a problem!

The turntable has a pre-amp, so it can't be hooked up to the phono jack, as they say this will cause distortion. They say to hook it up to the Aux. jack, but there is not such a thing on my receiver/amp. It does have a video hook up, so wondering if that would work? Any thoughts on this. The receiver is a Denon, and the new turntable is a Pioneer.

Sure. Hook the audio up to left and right and leave the yellow (video) puka empty. It should work fine.
