I believe that the book of Enoch tells us that the Giants who were born as offspring of the fallen angelic beings having mated with human women, often consumed everything available in their area, exhausted the human’s ability to feed them with crops, etc. And when that happen, they simply started eating humans. When they ran out of humans to devour, they began eating each other!

I had a similar dream. Strange, huh? I remember being
extremely upset when I woke up because it was a "lucid dream"
(like you are actually THERE seeing it.) I was with my
husband and we were trying to warn people (but they would
not listen.) I also had a pole shift dream during this same
time frame (around the mid 90's.) Haven't had anything like
that since--thank goodness!
