I don't follow Irish politics much, gets me too annoyed, specially people telling me how wonderful the EU is and how they've paid for everything. I just can't convince my neighbours that they're just giving back the money the Irish are paying in. Irexit for me!

Meanwhile in the UK looks like Nigel Farage's party's going to wipe out the Tories - unless the votes are rigged. I've had some feedback that the Brexit Party reps aren't being allowed in the rooms where the votes are being stored.

The Netherlands exit polls show that the populist parties aren't doing well, so it sounds rigged to me. Call me cynical...

I've been following Gemma O'doherty on You Tube for the last few weeks whilst she's been out campaigning. She's a journalist and features in Lauren Southerns banned Borderless video. Great lady. She's opened my eyes to how bad it is in Ireland too. Same old same old, globalism, run down housing estates etc. I hope she gets her voice heard, she deserves the votes.

Ian was very good too. First time I came across him was that vid. Plan to check out his channel soon. Gemma is great but she goes on a bit. I wish she'd do shorter and to the point vids. She would get more views.

Yeah I subscribed to his You Tube Channel a while ago he really knows his stuff as in the law etc. I watched an AV10 video on his channel the other day. A French Yellow Vest had to come over for her own protection and she gave a presentation. Brian Gerrish who heads UK Column introduces her on stage. Try to watch it without getting mad.

Well I voted for Tommy, EU elections let's see what happens. Call me cynical but on a separate note if corbyn gains power I look at it the after affects will wake people up. Maybe a full on Marxist gov is what's needed.

I know Tommy will get a big turn out in the North East. That was a brilliant move for him to go into the housing estates like that. Brave as well. Read earlier that the Royal Mail failed to deliver thousands of Tommys campaign leaflets. No surprise there. I hope he takes action against them for it. Counting apparently begun in the North West. Let's see what they come up with.

BREAKING: Very high turnout in rural areas of France, where they expect a high number of yellow vest voters, according to BFMTV. Right wing party Rassemblement National (RN), which was founded by former Pres. Candidate Marine Le Pen, is polling great amongst yellow vest voters.

Le Pen should smash it this time around. I think the Yellow Vests have woken quite a lot of people up with their die hard front at these demonstrations.

I dont think Tommy will get a seat, hopefully I am wrong.

HE needs 8% I think. 120,000 votes. The Government will pull every trick in the book,to make sure he doesn't get a seat. Have they ever made life easy for him? Juncker and the Verhofstadt will be dishing out their orders to the UK Government.

Queen causes european elections storm as she wears Brexit Party blue on polling day
THE Queen was caught up in a Twitter frenzy last night after wearing what appeared to be Brexit Party colours during an engagement on the same day as the European elections.

They say in the UK Nigel Farage's Brexit party is the clear winner with 30+, followed by the liberals. Turnout is high this time around EU.

Voting for these puppets is useless. The EU parliament doesn't have any actual power, the EU commission has. Guess who we can't vote for?

Much as I will be happy for the tories and labour to get a kicking from Brexit party, these elections are symbolic and won't change shit.

This is because the EU parliament has no power, it is merely a talking shop designed to give the illusion of democratic accountability.

It makes no legislation nor, it can only review legislation handed down from the EC commission but it can't stop it if either the EC commission or Council of Minister wants it to go through.

So it's a complete waste of time, true power resides in the commission and only nationalist govts prepared to leave the EU will bring it down.

It's not a complete waste of time because it will give a wider platform to new independent MEPs to let the public know what is going on. Especially for smaller country's like us.
